Develop your expertise in retirement consulting

As a Retirement Actuarial Intern, you will work closely with our experienced consultants to provide technical actuarial and consulting support on projects such as:

  • Designing, funding, pricing, and implementing retirement programs
  • Competitive benchmarking analysis of benefit plan designs
  • Developing professional expertise in retirement plans
  • Working with a wide range of associates at all levels within the local practice
  • Performing asset/liability modeling
  • Performing actuarial pension valuations for various clients
  • Assisting with completion of plan reporting and filing requirements
  • Performing plan administrative tasks such as benefit calculations, reviewing plan documents, and producing benefit statements

Enhance your skills and knowledge

You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced consultants and develop your skills in a dynamic team environment. Our comprehensive actuarial exam study program will help you work towards becoming a credentialed actuary.

Network and learn

You will kickoff the internship in a multi-day session with other interns across the local region to network and learn about WTW from various leaders in the Retirement business.

Grow with mentorship

You will have close interaction and support throughout the term from your very own Lead Retirement Consultant mentor.

To be eligible for this internship, you must have a strong academic record and be pursuing a degree in actuarial science or a related field.

You should have a good understanding of actuarial concepts and be able to analyze data and solve problems.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
