Retirement Consulting Internship Join Our Retirement Consulting Team

As a Retirement Consulting Intern, you will play a key role in supporting global organizations in optimizing the effectiveness of their employee retirement programs.

About the Role

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retirement consulting, working closely with our team of experts to design, fund, and implement retirement programs for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing, funding, pricing, and implementing retirement programs
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking analysis of benefit plan designs
  • Develop professional expertise in retirement plans, including technical knowledge and skills
  • Work with a wide range of associates at all levels within the local practice
  • Perform asset/liability modeling and actuarial pension valuations
  • Assist with completion of plan reporting and filing requirements
  • Perform plan administrative tasks, such as benefit calculations and plan document reviews
Qualifications
  • Progress towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Progress towards ASA or ACIA designation through the SOA or CIA
  • Work experience demonstrating strong technical and/or client service skills
  • Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a close team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
