Job Summary

Sandco Trucking Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate a dump truck to transport goods and materials, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload cargo from the dump truck, ensuring that it is properly secured and transported to its destination.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all necessary details are communicated in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as required by company policies and regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Certifications and Licenses: AZ class license, Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week
