About the Role

Majha Demolition & Excavating Ltd is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate a dump truck to transport goods and materials, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload goods from the dump truck, ensuring that cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
  • Inspect and Maintain Vehicle: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical issues.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, and adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Langue de travail: Anglais.
  • Work Hours: Heures de travail: 40 to 60 hours per week.
