Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Sidhu Concrete Pumping Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate a dump truck to transport goods and materials, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Transport Goods: Transport goods and materials to various locations, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and respond to instructions in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a dump truck driver is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a dusty environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Various locations, including dusty environments.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including different types of terrain.
