Job Summary

A Bhullar Trucking is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials in a dump truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain a dump truck, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Transport Goods: Transport goods and materials to various locations, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, identifying and reporting any issues.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in using a Citizens band (CB) radio.
  • Transportation Experience: Local and short-haul transportation experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, team player, hardworking, and patient.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The work environment will be in a trucking company setting.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
