About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at New Asian Village Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.

  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requiring attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
