Position Overview:

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on their roles, hygiene practices, and safety protocols
  • Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Recruit and hire new food service personnel
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost projections
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Compile and submit detailed reports
  • Prepare summaries of food orders for the chef
  • Supervise the delivery of food items
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Direct supervision of 1 to 2 team members
