Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Hearthstone Inn - Port Hawkesbury. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our guests.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Customer Service: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that their dining experiences are memorable and enjoyable.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Work Setting: Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort environment
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail
