Facilities Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at Pursuit Collection. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the Glacier Discovery Centre, Glacier View Lodge, Glacier Skywalk, and Icefield staff accommodation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance checks to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks within your scope of experience and skill
- Follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Participate in seasonal annual opening and closing procedures to ensure a seamless transition
- Book and coordinate contractors as needed to support maintenance and repair efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team
- Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision and work independently
- Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, building, and carpentry is preferred
- Class 5 driver's license (unrestricted) and Standard First Aid Certification are required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform manual duties as required
- Proven ability to complete minor building repairs to proper building standards and codes
- Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Dependable, self-motivated, and fully capable of working autonomously
- Employee and public relations skills and a friendly/cooperative nature
- Ability to work outdoors in challenging mountain weather conditions
- Internally motivated with a consistently high level of energy
- Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to meet the organization's grooming and appearance standards
- Willingness to undergo a criminal record check
