Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Supervisor to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our front office operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, leading a team of front desk staff, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service Delivery
    • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of front desk staff to achieve exceptional service standards
    • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee front office operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments
    • Manage front desk staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including complaints and compliments
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
    • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve guest issues and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
    • Identify and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Make informed decisions to ensure efficient and effective front office operations

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset
