Position Overview:

Lambton College of Applied Arts & Technology is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable individuals to engage in teaching roles within the Hospitality and Tourism department. The courses available for instruction encompass foundational tourism concepts, technological applications in tourism, marketing strategies, and emerging trends in the industry.

Role Details:

This is a part-time position, with classes offered in both in-person and online formats. Instructors will be responsible for delivering educational content at the Lambton College Centre for Graduate Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere for students;
  • Develop and revise lesson plans to enhance educational delivery;
  • Present course materials effectively, whether in-person or through online platforms;
  • Assess student performance through grading and provide constructive feedback;
  • Maintain timely communication with students regarding their progress;
  • Adhere to the Academic Calendar and institutional policies.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should possess relevant work experience in the hospitality or tourism sectors, ideally in areas such as food and beverage management, hotel operations, event coordination, or tourism entrepreneurship. Management experience is advantageous, and prior teaching experience is considered beneficial.

Successful applicants will demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills with students, faculty, and staff. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to a student-focused teaching approach are essential.
