Part-Time Instructor in Real-Time Systems

Position Overview:

The University of Ottawa is in search of a Part-Time Instructor to deliver a course focused on Real-Time Systems. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of the subject and must be a licensed professional engineer. A doctoral degree in a pertinent discipline or substantial professional experience in a related field post-PhD is required. Instruction will be conducted in French with face-to-face classes. The instructor is expected to participate in weekly tutorials and will receive compensation for a total of 52 hours of engagement. This course is also cross-listed with another academic program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibiting comprehensive knowledge of the course content through previous teaching roles or relevant professional experience.
  • Providing their professional license number along with the province of issuance in the application.
  • Conducting the course in an in-person format.
  • Participating in weekly tutorial sessions.

Equivalent qualifications and experience will be taken into account.
