Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Philthy Philly's Cheesesteak & Poutinerie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, responding to feedback and making recommendations for improvement.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing insights for business growth and improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
- Personal Qualities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company
- 35 hours per week
