Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Oversee the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared and portioned according to our high standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Hire and Manage Staff

Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff, including scheduling, performance management, and employee development.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure the financial health of our restaurant operations.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.

Food Order Management

Prepare and submit food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders.

Work Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules for food service staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Security and Safety

Criminal record check required.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and team management.
