About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Mechanic Helper at H M T T R U C K S A L E S C E N T R E L T D.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics and Tradespersons: Provide support to our skilled tradespeople in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Move and Store Equipment: Safely move tools, equipment, and materials around the warehouse and work areas.
  • Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, and help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Support Maintenance and Repair: Assist in cleaning machines and immediate work areas, and help with tasks such as moving equipment and storing materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, dusty, hot, odours, and wet/damp conditions.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, organized, reliability, and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
