Job Title: Truck Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Mechanic Helper to join our team at Skywalk Truck & Trailer Repair. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our truck and trailer repair services.

Work Environment:

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be working in a noisy environment, and you must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics with moving tools, equipment, and materials
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Notify supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
