Job Title: Truck Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Truck Mechanic Helper to join our team at Skywalk Truck & Trailer Repair. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist our experienced mechanics in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics with daily tasks, such as moving equipment, cleaning work areas, and performing routine maintenance.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Notify supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
