Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Skywalk Truck & Trailer Repair. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide support to our mechanics and technicians in the repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and technicians with routine maintenance and repairs
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Notify supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
Work Environment

Our work environment is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be required to work under pressure and handle a large workload.
