Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our Construction Logistics team at Pomerleau. As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in building financial models, preparing financial reports, and analyzing monthly variances to ensure rigorous budget control.
Key Responsibilities:- Support logistics managers in preparing annual budgets, quarterly trends, and three-year plans.
- Create dashboards and implement key performance indicators for various departments.
- Build and maintain financial analysis and projection models.
- Participate in projects to implement or develop analytical tools, budgeting systems, and optimize financial reporting.
- Analyze, prepare, and present financial results to management.
- Perform monthly variance analysis, justify variances, and ensure rigorous budget control.
- Prepare periodic/annual and ad hoc reports.
- Master the financial structure and ensure users understand this structure in their daily work (support and occasional training).
- Work closely with the finance department on financial statements.
- Bachelor's degree in administration, majoring in management, finance, or accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in analysis, data compilation, and accounting cycle.
- Advanced level of English.
- Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBi.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.
