Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Product Engineer to enhance our Display Engineering Team. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of the design and development of components and modules for our next-generation LED display systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with industry-leading mentors and contribute to the creation of products that will reach audiences globally.
  • Engineer complex mechanical systems with precision tolerances at the micron level.
  • Design for mass production while optimizing costs effectively.
  • Spearhead advanced testing and validation processes utilizing cutting-edge facilities.
  • Cultivate hands-on skills in building and testing components and assemblies.
  • Engage in all stages of product development, from initial concept to market launch.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • At least five years of experience in mechanical device design.
  • Proficiency in 3D Parametric Solid Modeling and creating detailed engineering drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience across various design domains, including machined parts, sheet metal, mechanisms, injection molded plastics, and advanced materials.

Preferred Experience:

  • Component design for automation.
  • Familiarity with DFMA, DFMEA, PFMEA, and Poka-Yoke design methodologies.
  • Mechanical simulation (FEA) experience.
  • Statistical modeling and analysis capabilities.
  • Knowledge of machining, manufacturing, and rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Expertise in structural, opto-mechanical, electro-mechanical, and thermal design.
  • Experience working with offshore contract manufacturers is advantageous.
