About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Honour Mechanical and Services Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt according to project specifications.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites as required.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications and ensure accurate measurements.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work as required.
  • Spill Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on the site.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
