About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cabinetmaker's Assistant to join our team at S WOODWORKS INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist in the operation of pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the ground, providing support for buildings and other structures.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring that all construction tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work to ensure that our equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring that they are properly maintained and operated.
  • Site Management: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring that all personnel and equipment are safely positioned.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Training: Will train on the job.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
