Construction Laborer Position Overview

Honour Mechanical and Services Ltd. is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Construction Laborer. This position is ideal for those looking to enter the construction industry and gain valuable experience.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain project requirements.
  • Set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and distribute materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Support drilling and blasting operations at construction sites.
  • Level ground to meet specified grading standards.
  • Organize and clean salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Manage the cleanup of chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
  • Remove debris and rubble from construction areas.
  • Operate machinery and equipment utilized in construction activities.
