Contract Duration: Initial 3.4 months

Location: Primarily Remote with Occasional In-Person Meetings

Our client, a provincial government entity, is seeking an experienced agile coach to support the Chief Information Officer within the Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will facilitate the development of an agile/hybrid framework, enhance the existing agile practices, and assist in managing organizational change.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transitioning from traditional waterfall methodologies to agile/hybrid approaches, including the establishment of agile frameworks for project team evaluations.

2. Proven experience as an agile coach or Scrum Master in a large-scale organization, supported by relevant certifications.

Certifications may include:

  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  • SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
  • Disciplined Agile ScrumMaster (DASM)
  • Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

3. Demonstrated experience in leading IT initiatives.

4. Familiarity with various agile methodologies such as Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile (SAFe).

Preferred certifications include:

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner from PMI)
  • Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Developer, Certified Scrum Trainer, Certified Scrum Coach, and/or Certified Scrum Professional
  • Certified Agile Project Manager (various levels)
  • Associate or Master's Certificate in Agile Methodology
  • Or equivalent qualifications.
