About the Role

Fidelity Canada is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our Project Governance Office. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in leading cross-functional Agile teams and collaborating with Product Owners to deliver technical capabilities that meet business needs and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization in understanding and adopting Agile Principles and the Scrum Framework.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the Scrum Team has enough information to turn a product backlog item into a potentially releasable/implementable item.
  • Establish or form Scrum teams as necessitated by initiatives/projects related to existing or new Products and in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Lead the Scrum Team to deliver on Product backlog items within a defined timebox, accounting for the Scrum Team's effectiveness by enabling the team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework.
Requirements
  • College Diploma in Accounting/Financial/Business Management or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
  • Must Have: Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification.
  • Nice to Have: Advanced Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master II certification.

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a vision.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Excel); working knowledge of software development.
