Scrum Master

Fidelity Canada is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our Project Governance Office. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in leading cross-functional Agile teams and collaborating with Product Owners to deliver technical capabilities that meet business needs and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the organization in understanding and adopting Agile Principles and the Scrum Framework.
- Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the Scrum Team has enough information to turn a product backlog item into a potentially releasable/implementable item.
- Establish or form Scrum teams as necessitated by initiatives/projects related to existing or new Products and in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Lead the Scrum Team to deliver on Product backlog items within a defined timebox, accounting for the Scrum Team's effectiveness by enabling the team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework.
- College Diploma in Accounting/Financial/Business Management or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Must Have: Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification.
- Nice to Have: Advanced Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master II certification.
- Extensive experience in leading business and systems delivery teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum framework, principles, and processes.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills.
- Team focused with ability to teach teams how to be self-organized.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable with transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
- Comfortable working with multiple teams.
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with cross-divisional teams, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with a vision.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Excel); working knowledge of software development.
