Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Specialist to join our team in Western Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of pursuit plans and strategies for our region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the completion of persuasive proposals, marketing collateral, and presentations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical terminology, project management structure, and discipline functions by sector.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate groups of content providers, and manage changing priorities.
  • Review RFPs and participate/lead strategic win plan discussions with project managers and technical leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum three years of experience coordinating and writing technical proposals for an engineering, construction, or professional services organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software, such as Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Understanding of marketing techniques, including layout, graphics, and strategy-to-win.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Negotiation, problem-solving, planning, and time management skills.
  • Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Even-tempered in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Consistent personal ethics, including integrity, dependability, initiative, and quality.

What We Offer

GHD offers a competitive salary range of $73,040.00-$109,560.00 CAD, depending on background and experience. We also offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
