Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating patients with physical disabilities or impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify physical impairments and develop treatment plans to address these impairments.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities, to patients to improve their physical function and mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Registered Physical Therapist (PT) license in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to adapt to changing patient needs and circumstances.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with frequent interruptions. The Physical Therapist must be able to lift and move patients as needed, and must be able to stand for long periods of time. The Physical Therapist must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
