Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating patients with various physical disabilities and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify physical limitations and develop treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, to patients according to their treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on proper physical therapy techniques and home exercises.
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Registered Physical Therapist license in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities. The Physical Therapist will be required to stand, walk, and move around the hospital and treatment areas. The position also requires the ability to lift and move patients as needed.
