About the Role

The Key Account Manager is a critical position within our organization, responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales, marketing, and bid management activities. This role requires a strong understanding of the aeronautical industry and the ability to develop and execute business development plans that meet the needs of our key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development plans to drive sales growth and revenue expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including tier one partners in the aeronautical industry
  • Lead the bids and proposals process for manufacturing and prototype production opportunities
  • Work closely with the Comtek management team to develop tactical plans to achieve company goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aeronautical industry
  • Manage a team of inside sales professionals to provide accurate workflow status data and forecast accuracy
  • Contribute to the budgeting process and achieve annual department goals for assigned direct sales accounts
  • Support Comtek's global network of distributors to maximize sales through these channels
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the aeronautical industry and its key players
  • Proven track record of business development and sales growth
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to develop and execute business development plans
  • Strong leadership and management skills
