About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at D Spot Dessert Cafe Delta. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to order
    • Portion and wrap foods for customers
    • Keep records of food quantities used
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset, but not required
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week
