About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D Spot Dessert Cafe Delta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our dessert cafe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our cafe operates efficiently and effectively.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Oversee and coordinate the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained at all times.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and informing business decisions.

Work Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that our staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
