Job Summary

North Eastern Trucking Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and communicate with colleagues and management as needed.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and valid passport.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver, you will be required to work extended periods, travel overnight, and be willing to cross-border. You will be driving a manual transmission vehicle and will be responsible for performing brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
