We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at TV2 Consulting. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
  • Develop and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) strategy, incorporating both automation initiatives using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and manual testing techniques.
  • Lead accessibility testing efforts for web applications and ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of accessibility.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate test activities within the team, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of test execution, providing regular updates to the development team and stakeholders.
  • Document and manage the detailed execution plan for all testing cycles, ensuring that all testing activities are well-planned and executed.
  • Provide guidance, coordination, and coaching to development team members supporting QA activities, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Liaise with external partners to ensure effective and timely delivery of software products.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
    • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
    • Proficient in using automated testing tools.
    • Experience with performance testing.
    • Experience working in an Agile team environment.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in the full testing life cycle.
    • Ability to manage both manual and automated testing strategies.
    • Proficiency in BDD and automation script development.
    • Strong coordination and team management skills.
    • Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
    • Continuous improvement mindset, staying current with new tools and methodologies.
What We Offer
  • Work onsite in Montreal, Canada up to 3 days a week collaborating with the team.
  • Work hours are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year.
