Position Overview: In the role of Automation Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Business Solutions and Innovation at Commsoft Technologies Inc. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for our Fidelio ERP software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy tools designed to identify system failures and anomalies throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring that issues can be reproduced, understood, and thoroughly documented.
  • Design and execute software tests and validations in alignment with established standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of automated testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with programmer analysts to maintain the quality of software developments.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of relevant training and experience.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
  • Strong command of the Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles of quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of SQL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
  • Understanding of small business processes and contexts is considered an asset.
