Position Overview: Director and Group Lead, Commercial Banking Distribution

The Director and Group Lead for Commercial Distribution is tasked with overseeing a mid-market (and/or core) team that plays a crucial role in the success of the Commercial Bank. This position entails achieving financial targets related to the profitable expansion and retention of the team's designated portfolio of Commercial clients. A deep understanding of client and business trends, local markets, and the ability to implement strategies that enhance relationships by utilizing internal partners to offer comprehensive solutions is essential.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients while understanding market dynamics.
  • Drive business growth through effective sales management and people development.

Essential Skills:
  • Extensive experience in commercial banking.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills, complemented by strong sales capabilities.
  • Expertise in credit analysis and understanding of lending policies.
  • Educational background in Business or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to create and implement tactical plans that drive business development.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a fast-paced work environment.
