About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Rock Bottom Underpinning. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and vibrators
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to secure concrete structures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to ensure they are safe and durable
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing
  • Permanent employment with a regular 35 to 44 hour workweek
  • English language proficiency
