Job Summary:

The Freight Forwarding Technician will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials between departments, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle operator work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including compiling orders and instructions received from customers.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Vehicle Operations: Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments, and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work.
  • Team Collaboration: Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, and train workers in duties and policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
