Warehouse Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of product in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of product to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers.
  • Manage a team of hourly employees in a unionized environment, providing guidance and support to ensure operational objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and management to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized warehouse environment.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a diverse, unionized warehouse environment.
  • College diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Saskatchewan Labour Laws and Regulations.
