We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at RIMEX Supply in Saskatoon. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall warehouse operation, ensuring the safe and efficient storage and distribution of customer goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and assign tasks to staff, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term warehouse planning, including inventory control and stock management.
- Manage stock receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery, as well as shipment loading and transferring.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including workplace safety and security.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff, promoting continuous improvement and motivation.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, inventory levels, and safety metrics.
- High school diploma and two years of equivalent work experience.
- College or university degree in business administration or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehousing environment, with a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift, clamp device, pallet jack, and overhead crane device.
- OSHA forklift certification and experience with WCB regulations and risk assessments.
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
