Warehouse Operator role at Parrish & Heimbecker, a Canadian-owned milling company, involves operating a forklift, maintaining inventory, and performing sanitation duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Job Description As a Warehouse Operator, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and support the operations, performing duties in a safe and timely manner. Your responsibilities will include: • Assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations • Operating a forklift to efficiently carry out product loading and unloading • Operating a stretch wrap machine • Maintaining a clean work area and performing sanitation duties within the warehouse • Completing and complying with all Health & Safety training relating to the job • Contributing to a positive work environment • Performing other warehouse duties as required and assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor Requirements • Previous experience in a general labourer position • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment • Ability to operate a forklift • Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and stack 25 kg bags • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and problem-solving skills • Reliable and dependable with the ability to work shiftwork • Able to work in environments subject to dust allergens as well as in all outside weather conditions Benefits • Competitive hourly wage • Learning and Development Programs • Dental, Vision, and Extended Health Care • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off • RRSP Matching • Wellness Program • Company Events About Us Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited is an equal opportunity employer and is in compliance with the Employment Equity Act.
