About the Role:

RIMEX Supply is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Saskatoon. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall warehouse operation, ensuring the safe and effective storage and distribution of customer goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and assign tasks to staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production timelines.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term warehouse planning, including layout and space management, stock control, and inventory management.
  • Manage stock receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery, as well as shipment loading and transferring, document recording, and data entry into Syteline.
  • Plan and coordinate warehouse resources and activities to meet company objectives, including recruitment and hiring of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, security protocols, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to Plant 5s goals.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to investigate and resolve process-driven quality failures.
  • Prepare and submit warehouse activity reports, including KPIs, daily/weekly operations reports, health and safety, and human resources.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and two years of equivalent work experience.
  • College or university degree in business administration or a related field, or pertinent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in operating a forklift, clamp device, pallet jack, overhead crane device, and maintaining OSHA forklift certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehousing environment in a supervisory role.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mobile equipment operations.
  • Experience with WCB regulations and risk assessments.
  • Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) is an asset.
  • Trained or have equivalent experience with bottleneck management, flow/JIT, standard works, QDIP, A3 problem-solving, and project platform, Lean, and 5s.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
