Origination & M&A Advisory Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Origination & M&A Advisory Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our clients' most strategic acquisition targets.

Your primary objective will be to generate conversations with key acquisition targets on behalf of our clients, and advance those conversations forward. You will connect with decision makers at those targets primarily through phone, email, or LinkedIn, determine their strategic initiatives, confirm suitability for our clients, prepare memos, and make introductions to our clients.

You will be responsible for building, nurturing, and managing a prospect pipeline, achieving or exceeding personal monthly targets for qualified meetings based on specific criteria, maintaining and updating an accurate log of activity in our CRM, and embracing data-oriented practices to optimize personal performance.

We are looking for someone who shares our values, is self-motivated, takes initiative, thinks creatively, and values being held accountable for both successes and failures. You should be comfortable conversing and engaging with owners or C-Level about their business and strategic priorities and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with clients' strategic acquisition targets
  2. Generate conversations with key acquisition targets on behalf of clients
  3. Build, nurture, and manage prospect pipeline
  4. Achieve or exceed personal monthly targets for qualified meetings
  5. Maintain and update accurate log of activity in CRM
  6. Embrace data-oriented practices to optimize personal performance
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or relevant field, with a strong academic record
  2. Keen understanding of mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and capital markets
  3. Two plus years of relevant experience in deal origination and/or business development
  4. Outstanding ability to engage and influence prospects over email/LinkedIn/phone
  5. Superior oral and written communication skills
  6. High degree of organization, curiosity, and willingness to learn
  7. Languages of interest: Portuguese, Mandarin, Spanish
