Job Description

Banyan Software Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating potential acquisition targets, conducting market research, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial statements and market trends to identify potential acquisition opportunities
  • Conduct due diligence on potential targets, including reviewing financials, operations, and management teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and partners
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on acquisition targets and integration plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of acquired companies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
  • 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, investors, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel and financial software
