Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer to guide our clients through the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, and other significant transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law, including M&A, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and assess potential risks and liabilities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals during transactions.
  • Provide strategic advice on deal structuring and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • 4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions law with a strong transactional background.
  • In-depth knowledge of M&A law and related corporate regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and work under tight deadlines.
