Job Title: Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our corporate law practice, you will advise clients on the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and assess potential risks and liabilities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals during transactions.
  • Provide strategic advice on deal structuring and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • 4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions law with a strong transactional background.
  • In-depth knowledge of M&A law and related corporate regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and work under tight deadlines.
