Senior Finance Analyst

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Senior Finance Analyst to join the COBS Bread Finance Team. This role is pivotal in providing insightful financial and commercial guidance as we aim to expand our business significantly over the next five years.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering financial and commercial insights, tasked with evaluating the financial stability, risks, and security of franchise bakeries. You will collaborate with stakeholders to propose and implement effective financial and commercial strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with various stakeholders, including Franchisees, COBS Bread Support Team, financial institutions, and legal advisors, to enhance the financial and commercial well-being of the franchise network.
  • Identifying and evaluating financial risks and opportunities for improvement across the franchise network, striving for optimal financial and commercial results for both COBS Bread and its Franchisees.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective financial institutions that partner with COBS Bread, while collaborating with the Operations team to assess and manage franchisee debt, including loan financing.
  • Assisting the Senior Manager, FP&A with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to stakeholders on COBS Bread's commercial management policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • CA or CPA accreditation is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence positive commercial outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the capability to identify and manage risks while enhancing efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
