About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 1616859 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation and portioning.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
    • Food Safety Certificate.
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work setting.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
