Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at A-1 Cash and Carry. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and overseeing the sales process to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or retail management.
  • Permanent position, 32 to 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
